Youre partially right, I may lose 10% profit so to speak but I boost sales and gain a stronger customer relationship. This is common business practice, I would normally give discount at the end of the year. This year is different only because the discount are only on bitcoin sales. Also the discount isnt limited to a number of customers, I plan on running it for a month straight.
As I said, your idea will definitely attract some of your customers to pay you in bitcoins for a 10% discount. I really think it's a good strategy to increase the number of your customers to use bitcoin as a means of payment, and it's a good idea to limit it to an entire month only.
If I were you, I might also consider some other crypto with less volatility instead of bitcoin. Honestly someone out there is too honest to say these bitcoin fluctuation are scary, and they are reluctant to buy them and keep them other than as an investment.
