Yes, it is curious, I read that in one of the stories that I saw in a document that appears on HBO +, and the son of CR7 appeared, although lately I have seen more information about it and apparently CR7 wants to retire from football at the At the age of 40, I think that if he does it at that age, he will be able to fulfill his son, because he could already be a youth player who, if he is very good, could be considered to play with the professional, well at least I have seen that in some leagues. Maybe with the influence of CR7 they will make it a reality, you never know, I think that at 16 they could make a possible exception, I don't know how things are in the laws of football, but I see it as possible.

After the loss to Morocco during the quarter-finals, I was sad to see Ronaldo sobbing and getting emotional. By the time of the next world cup, he will be 41 years old. I don't know whether he will continue playing till then. But if he decides against retiring immediately, a lot of the fans will be overjoyed. No matter what happened during this world cup (it was the stupidity from Fernando Santos that cost Portugal the QF match), my opinion is that Ronaldo should give another try in 2026. He is still one of the top football players in the world.
No doubt Ronaldo is an exceptional footballer in this era, and he would still love to play even at the age of 45. But the problem is his inability to adapt to the changes he will encounter. (1) no coach will want to make a footballer in his late thirties the first choice of his team, especially when the performance is below target.  2) a player at that age is limited to a particular hour of performance. All these are factors Ronaldo is currently finding difficult to adapt to. He still wants to be seen as the team's first choice, and this strive will continue to torture him till when he chooses to resign. I presume we have witnessed the end of Ronaldo's era, is high time he resigns with dignity.

According to the news that everyone is talking about, Mou does not want CR7 to leave, he wants to count on him for both the Euro and the next World Cup, I believe that a soccer player when he is 35-37 years old should not retire if he considers that he still has a lot to do. what to give, because then it would be frustrating, for me what CR7 is doing is very good, I know people say that age is a number, but we cannot forget the experience he has, he is also a star, Messi with his 36 -37 years old, he won a world cup, he did not know what banking was in the World Cup, just like Luka Modric and they led their countries to the top, in Portugal Fernando Santos failed.

I left betting on national teams after the World Cup ended but Germany were one of the best playing teams in the World Cup. They just had issues with finishing and said farewell to the tourney in group stage unluckily. I see Germans as favourites of the tourney with their host country advantage as a result.

Same here. I normally make bet only for international tournaments, especially those organized by FIFA or UEFA. The next FIFA world cup will be on 2026, and we need to wait for another 1.5 years for the next Euro Cup. The AFC Asian Cup is scheduled to start on 16th June this year in China. But I am not sure whether it will go ahead because of COVID concerns. Euro 2024 will kickstart on 14th June 2024. There will be a total of 24 participants, similar to the previous edition. Maybe they can expand the number of participants from 2028 onwards, given the expansion being planned for 2026 FIFA world cup.

Right now this will be considered very interesting, because we will have France in context, which is a team that comes with a slight sting that there was for not having been able to bring back the FIFA trophy in Qatar, we also have a Germany that has a drastic injury that was occasioned in this World Cup and a Portugal that did not include its best star, now, if the defending champion of the last Euro was Portugal, it is a matter of time only to have CR7 to see what level his team reaches, will he be called up? Could it be that they will take it into account now, will it be Mourinho who has it for better things? This Euro is very interesting to know what things can happen with these teams that are the most famous.
