Earning a merit, it's what that will determine your growth in the community, i believe according to the system, if you don't have merit you have a limited growth, so therefore merit is very important because it's what that will enable you to grow higher, and to earn a merits will be determined by a quality post, with quality post you can be able to earn merit.
