The absence of Gabriel Jesus was starting to be felt for Arsenal, Mikel Arteta played Eddy Nkentiah to fill Jesus' position. During the course of the match Nkentiah appeared less than optimal, Arteta also had no other attacking options on the bench. Arsenal appeared dull against Newcastle despite controlling the match, the difficulty of penetrating the back area of a team that has a solid defense seemed to be an alarm for Arsenal to hunt for new players in the transfer market this winter. This draw does not interfere with Arsenal position at the top of the standings, but if it continues it will be a red flag for Arsenal.

It’s harsh to blame Nketiah after yesterday’s game, Arsenal did everything to win the match but Newcastle were stubborn as they have been all season even if Jesus was in the match it might still be same result. I actually thought Arsenal will struggle without Jesus but seriously Nketiah has been superb this few matche. Hopefully he keeps this form and Arsenal won’t need to rush Gabriel back to action. But not withstanding new arrivals isn’t bad as they will help with depth in the squad

with this draw, MU really benefited because at this time the points MU earned were the same as those owned by Newcastle,

MU won 3-0 or Bournemouth, ten hag proved himself able to make MU come back better, I'm more and more convinced that MU will shift the position of Newcastle and even man city.

This recent form of Manchester United is convincing but to cast out doubts the game against Man City on the 14th will be a big test but before that united needs to beat the struggling Everton. If united beat both their city rivals and Everton then the race for top 4 will be heating up and possibly the title too. But for now united need a proper 9 because Martial isn’t looking too effective at the moment. They should consider Vlahovic of Juventus
