Those numbers are weird.

Even worse than the Pareto principle... I am not totally against some of the ideas of the Pareto principle for providing some framework, but some of those ideas are a bit elitist and denigrating in regards to how regular peeps (normies) tend to act/behave.  I like to try to consider myself as a normie .. but hey, maybe that's not a good mental framework and it might not even be completely true, because even if some of us like to consider ourselves as normies.. at the same time, our egos also like to tell us that we are special and unique snowflakes... There is a kind of ongoing tension that likely exists in each of us.


Without devolving too far into your seeming ongoing desire to include a lot of politics in your discussions (hahahahahaha.. I know that you cannot help yourself)...    A trillion used to be a pretty damned BIG number.  Now, we throw such trillion (or multiples of such) around like it no does not mean nuttin.


I largely agree with you eXPHorizon on this particular point, and maybe for slightly different reasons... In essence, I am not very much into the idea of exclusion.. but it is possible that it could be reasonable to have some kind of bare minimum threshold.. of 5 merits earned outside of the WO thread, or something like that.. yet even that kind of a threshold might really NOT be a good idea in terms of the ideas of free speech.. including that even dweebs, shills, trolls should be able to post in this thread, and if they are actually violating forum rules or somehow going overboard in their dweebness, then those posts can be deleted.. We do have deleted posts in this thread from time to time, but seems to be quite a bit less deletion of posts in this thread since Infofront took it over in early 2017.. Wasn't it early 2017?  or am I misremembering?
