It sure is if it wasn't for the great savings of Nick Pope during those games with Arsenal, and because we all know how huge of a team Arsenal is and they remained always on top of the Premier League, it was non-bar a great upset for the favorite to win team, and Newcastle have proven their worth and next match for Newcastle is Fulham on January 15, let's see if their draw against Arsenal is just dumb luck or not, and surely if this team can be given a great striker the combination could be deadly,
I think it's possible that Newcastle is deliberately making the defense stronger than before when playing at home to Arsenal. so at least if they can't score, Newcastle can make the score a draw.
Arsenal had the first chance in the first half but it failed. and after that there were still many opportunities to score goals against Newcastle but all in vain because Newcastle made a fortress in a very strong defense.

Arsenal's other shots have failed not because of the defense but out of luck aswell and with the addition of Newcastle's defense and Nick Pope's great saves they surely had a hardtime making a dent in the defense of Newcastle, Arsenal is like making a dent to the wall of a castle, and they haven't made anything, the only thing that Newcastle need is a strong striker a goal machine by their side, to make that play worth while, because they have proven their defense is top notch but if they can not make a dent to the opponents wall aswell then they would end up always on a draw,
