This should be an ongoing process without expecting any achievements in a season that has been filled with inconsistent team performances. I'm not going to forbid them from setting a target of becoming champions, but it takes time for a team that has just recently resurrected like Manchester United. I think it will be very hasty in its first season already targeting a trophy which at the beginning received the team in not good condition.
Wouldn't it be better if a team like Manchester United were able to win the Europa League trophy in conditions like now this season? Because the Manchester United team is a big team and has also had a very long career in football so there is no rush or first season here because Manchester United needs a trophy to prove to the public that they are still very strong and able to achieve what they want. And it can also be a boost for team motivation for the next season again.
I think Manchester United also want to win the trophy, but there is a difficult obstacle in front of them. They will have to eliminate Spanish giant Barcelona first. Their performance in the Premier League has been on the rise and if they continue like this, they have a chance to knock out Barcelona. If they beat Barcelona, they could go all the way to the final.
As long as MU will always be performing like when the club was able getting some wins in EPL and i do believe MU capable to beat barcelona easily without any doubt about that. MU is on the rise now in EPL while barcelona faced another difficult match against espanyol and it was not able to get full points from there while real madrid has been almost surpassing barcelona again. I think that the performance from barcelona will not be so good. In my opinion if barcelona is under pressure by real madrid while MU was getting new performance again. MU was quite better for now but the match is still a month away and i think that there will be so many changes to come soon.
MU itself has been preparing some big transfers to make sure if it will be getting a good striker for the rest of season. MU looks so strong right now.
