As much as we wanted to be as the main source of payments, there are a lot of challenges that we have to face, like the volatility and not everyone are willing to accept it. Not sure what you mean by paper money disappearing though, central banks are not going to allow it.

For 2023, the prediction might still be the same, it could trade sideways for the whole year as we are still in the bear market.

So still we better prepared again, who knows, maybe there could be events like FTX that will make a huge impact on the price again and see another lowest for 2023 before eventually rising up next year.
