I think at that point locking is smarter thing to do. I try to do it because not only you are getting the benefits like unlocked people do, but you are also getting more so that means it's growing and you would get more benefits because you are doing better as well. All in all having more, and given free money is always better option to me.
Looking at the current situation I am doing fine and I am not planning on doing any unlocking anytime soon, well aside from arranging some stuff.
