Sevilla - PSV is going to be one of the challenging matchups in this stage of the Europa League.
This is the first ever meet of these teams with each other. I'm seeing PSV one step ahead truthfully. Because Sevilla have been terrible for a long time period since the beginning of the season. They just defeated Getafe in the La Liga and finally got a win after a long break. I don't know if they can improve their form very much until the first leg here. But it will be a really difficult for them to be completely ready until then. PSV are already one of the decent teams of the tournament. Sevilla are a big threat on paper because of their history here maybe. But realistically, they aren't better than PSV for now.
Sevilla is one of the most succesful club in europa league history ... despite they are playing the season awfully as they are sitting at 17th at the league standing and fighting the relegation zone ... sad to see such big club in terrible form but they seems ready to recover.
And europa league could become the starting point , would be a tricky to pick between the two.
I think in this match PSV will be the favorites because Sevilla's current form is erratic. It would be a different view if Sevilla could perform like last season where they showed impressive performances. Unlike this season, I have to say they are one of the worst teams, for a team that did well last season. Maybe this will be a game PSV will win, that's my prediction for now.
