Mining is still a thing yes! But you will need state of the art hardware, like an S19Pro and always one thing that is: Cheap power!
If you can have cheap power it may even be possible to mine with old hardware and not make a loss. The reward will still be very small, so it should be your focus to calculate if it makes sense for you to get state of the art mining hardware. If yes, then minig is still possible.
