A few hours ago I transferred a small amount of btc from my Jaxx Liberty wallet (source) to my Exodus wallet (target). The Jaxx wallet still says 'pending' but the funds arrived in my Exodus wallet only a few minutes after I sent them. Can I assume the funds are safely in my Exodus wallet? Any way to check that the funds are safely in my Exodus wallet?

Check how much confirmation it received on the blockchain if the transaction already received 1 or more confirmation then you can safely assume that the transaction is already confirmed and safe to use. Always relay on the blockchain records to check the confirmation status of your transaction rather than the display on the wallet because some wallet requires a number of confirmation for a transaction to display successful like OSS said above.
