Profit might be the first reason why people gamble, but a good gambler never attached to the profit, the most important thing in gambling is excitement and fun experience, having profit is just the bonus
If you think that good gambler never chase profit, means that all gamblers in this world is not good gamblers.
All gamblers are chasing profit, this is why it is called by gambling where gamblers risk their money for more money.
It is bullshit if gamblers are gambling just for fun and entertainment only, if they just want to catch the fun, they should not gamble with real money as they can use demo mode.
I would prefer to say that good gambler is not about what they chase, but more about how the chase it.
everything you said is very true and i like your last words. but in this case I slightly disagree, because not all of that bullshit is real.
maybe almost 90% of gamblers always pursue profits in gambling and are always looking for the best way to pursue victory and profit. but I have also experienced that before before my life was destroyed at gambling. it was all my original mistake when I used to gamble, always chasing profits until I couldn't control my emotions and I turned into chasing losses and doing really stupid things selling valuables, spending all the money chasing losses and forgetting how to chase wins.
but since the devastation I decided to leave gambling a few years later and try to bet with full control and gamble with sober money without thinking about victory or profit. maybe some people judge me this is just a bullshit story but if anyone wants to see my transactions when betting or my winnings at gambling I never take them out but I use them again to bet at a later date. that's all I do just for fun.
