Russian general "Armageddon" Surovikin, who was supposed to turn the shitshow around but ended up giving up Kherson and wasting missiles on transformers, has been
demoted from the position of the commander of the "special operation". The new commander is Valery Gerasimov (Chief of the General Staff), who seems to get a lot of hate in the Z-channels for alleged corruption and incompetence. I doubt this will improve anything for the Russian forces. Maybe Gerasimov will be the fall guy.
It is interesting that channels are talking about corruption and mismanagement. Did actually RF citizens not know what has been pretty much the cancer of their armies for the last many decades? Even more so noticeable when your sea based units are useless in the conflict, you planes are pretty much on land due to strong defences (and lack of proper pilots tbh) and all you have is the ground troops which surely have a much higher level of corruption.
But overall, when the strategy is absurdly wrong from the political perspective, there is very little that can be done in the field to correct it.
