Not really sure if I have commented this topic before, but I'll take the 1st criteria to comment:

If you think that good gambler never chase profit, means that all gamblers in this world is not good gamblers.
All gamblers are chasing profit, this is why it is called by gambling where gamblers risk their money for more money.
It is bullshit if gamblers are gambling just for fun and entertainment only, if they just want to catch the fun, they should not gamble with real money as they can use demo mode.
I would prefer to say that good gambler is not about what they chase, but more about how the chase it.

We may not understand it or know the reason but some gamblers waste money on entertainment regardless of the result. Maybe they are the people who don't even know where to spend their money. Yes, they also chase for profit and that's how they feel entertained. I agree that a good gambler knows how to chase profit responsibly and wisely. There are gamblers who chase their losses the wrong way which usually take them on the wrong track.

There are many reason why people engage in gambling and some of them is for entertainment only and wasting of money but the other hand there are many gamblers that they play it because they getting have fun once they are in casino betting and win. Also some gamblers play it because of they need a comfort when they lost and have a problem gambling is their medicine do better.

Different people/gambler do have different reason why they are involve with gambling, the common saying is they are enjoying while playing, a good criteria is those who can manage their finances and not allowing addiction to take place, I see lots of different stories about heavy gaming which ended up losing a lot to the point of losing everything including their families.

If you want to play for fun, best to have a strong mental and financial control.

Yes you are right that mate and this is a good challenge for the gambler themselves to fight the addiction especially a small gambler, as we all know that once a small gamblers get addicted then they force their money to gamble without thinking that what they do is totally affecting their daily lives. So the main idea here is that it's up to the gambler itself what are the reason why he gamble and what is the strategy they prepare for addiction.
