In my opinion, yes, it is. Ethereum is the best altcoin if compared to other altcoins so far.

As long as you have ready and known the risks, do it by using your free money with amount that you can affordto loose. Because none can guaarntee that inevstment in the crypto is always safe. there will be always the risks.
