I totally agree with this, because I often witness people around me when they experience failure, always looking for scapegoats to blame for their failures, as you said, always blaming family, government, circumstances, and others without doing proper self-introspection. .
We must be aware that every freedom is formed by ourselves as well as financial freedom, without serious effort we may never get it.

Additional as Motivation
Failure will always be present in every endeavor, learn then improve and keep trying again, like Mr. Thomas Alva Edison who made 1000 attempts to succeed, as well as the financial freedom you want, you must continue to be consistent in the path you take.
This seems to be the instinct of most people because regardless of anything the ego always forbids us from admitting mistakes.
The fact is that this happens in our daily lives because conditions like this seem to be commonplace even though if we were much more aware of mistakes then I think this would not be too complicated but because a high ego makes this always happen.
Not too hypocritical, sometimes I also always do things like this to defend myself. Even if it gets a little bad when you get used to it but this is undeniable.
I have seen many people refusing plainly to work - I was hiring some online worker and people are not willing to work from home and they put their condition first rather than asking for the work and JD.
I think - many people are very stubborn and cranky and make things difficult for themselves.
