Yes but the chances are very small to get big profits so I don't think shitcoin is the right choice if you aim to make big profits,
investing in top coins certainly makes much more sense to make profits,
obviously it all depends on the decision of each.
Depending the price and lifespan of a shitcoin it might worth to invest some bucks on it for speculative purposes, although it must be clear that someone doing this isn't exactly investing, but gambling with his funds, because as you said the chances it's going to work are really low. I don't know if any shitcoins' enthusiasts have already calculated how much they have been profiting or losing on long term, but that would be an interesting data to have access, so we could check how profitable the strategy of investing in such tokens can be on long term.
