Definitely need more media attention before the launch. I like the idea of a beta wallet for testing.
As someone else has said a countdown timer (maybe itsalmo.st) would be convenient.
It seems most people walk away from new coins now the second there is a mention of a fork, bug or relaunch so a lot of testing is crucial.

I have to say I have a good feeling about Edgecoin.
