Holding Bitcoin and a couple other shitcoins does not count as diversification.
You're better off holding assets from a different industry or niche, than holding a bunch of hugely correlated assets.
spot on!! exactly my thought when i hear someone classify hoding bitcoin and some shitcoin diversifications- to OP Upgrade is correct if you are not hodling/investing in Gold, stocks, bonds, real estate and commodities then you are keeping all eggs in one basket hodling only Bitcoin and shitcoin.
However, it is important to note that the value of Bitcoin and other shitcoins can be highly and you understand that it is a speculative investment in which they may lose money. only invest what you can lose
