I recently deposited 15147 Dogecoins onto HitBTC, At this time 16/01/2022 they are worth $2,767.25, i use Dogecoins for the cheap sending fees and most exchanges use this currency. I was not expecting a price manipulation of $666.00 when i received the dogecoins on the website.
I tried to withdraw my coins back onto another exchange and received this message " Withdrawals for this cryptocurrency are offline. Please refer to the System Monitor page for updates. " . Okay I'm not worried at this point as most exchanges have wallet maintenance from time to time, but then i scrolled through the internet and i see this exchange has been having issues for a very long time with their dogecoin withdrawals
and many many angry customers. You would think they would disable Dogecoin deposits! especially when this has been a problem for what seems a year, so i reach out to them through email i get this message
When I saw January 16, I thought it was a 2 weeks old topic. Unfortunately after reading the thread I figured out it was thread from last year. And I have to note that in one year nothing has changed. Deposits for Doge coins are still open (without any warning) but for unknown reasons withdrawals are still closed. They claim the wallet is in maintenance but my coins left the deposit address for a bigger wallet in few minutes. If they are able to move them like that why they can't send them to the customers?
