If I ask a question and it has been answered, I decided not to lock the topic because some other users may still want to contribute, I like all experienced members on this forum to contribute, although my thread is not a spam thread and I always prefer to report spammers than to lock a thread, but if a thread is becoming too long and no other useful information to it, you can lock it or report to moder as Tor to lock it if people are using it to spam.
