Do you mean the link to join a group or the link spam that spread out when joining a new group?

Discord and Telegram are known as popular places for cryptocurrency group applications, both applications suffer the same fate, which is, filled with a scammer who tries to deceive all of the people. Specifically in regard to the communities, if the participant is wary and has discomfort toward any particular application, then simply raises a new issue to migrate into something better. One of the alternatives I know is Matrix. So, it is up to the community wether it is worth it to migrate or not.
