I honestly believe that it was going to be better for Manchester United if they brought in Depay. They need a striker. And right now they do have Weghorst. You but I don't believe that he is going to be good enough alone for Manchester United. In my opinion, Depay was going to be a lot better compared to him.
Anyway, I also think the match between Barcelona and Manchester United is going to be hard for both teams to win. But Barcelona should be a better team going into this match.
About Depay or Weghorst I think Erik ten hag has his own opinion regarding this matter. But what is certain is that Weghorst's role in several Manchester United matches has contributed quite a bit so far, even though he doesn't have the speed of a striker but thanks to his anchor body it makes it a little difficult for opposing defenders to guard him and that is what Barcelona's defense line has to watch out for.
