What about having a custom title for the winners? It doesn't take much time for theymos to add them. People will see Golden Feather 2021, 2022 and thus, more people will know about the yearly contest too.
I think we can create a petition thread to convince theymos that Bitcointalk Community awards winner should have a custom title.

Although, I think it would be even nicer to add a BCA forum badge with the specific award(s) in the tooltip, like this:
Edit: Some people may want to opt out of wearing these badges, but with so few eligible that could easily be handled over PM.
Very nice idea, and I guess easily doable (not expert about SMF here).
Or maybe next year the award could include a customized badge for each category.
