Salzburg and Roma are going to play against each other for the first time in their history.
Roma obviously have the upper hand on their opponent in this matchup. I wonder how much they want the Europa League title as well. Because they were really eager to win the Europa Conference League title in the previous season. And they made it too. However the Europa League is full of tough teams which are more in number comparing to the ECL. Roma will need to make a bigger effort here. Eliminating Salzburg would be a good start for that. They just need to be careful in defense as Salzburg are an effective attacking team.
To be honest, even though their opponent is Salzburg, AS Roma also has an erratic appearance. This will be a difficult match for AS Roma to advance to the next round and they could be the ones who were eliminated by Salzburg instead. I have no doubt that AS Roma's ambitions will be very high, but having high ambitions alone is not enough for them to win this match. It takes a lot of effort with a good game to make them win.
