I think it's common thing that 5 years old kids already have their personal phones bought by parents. Only younger kids play with their parents phones. I think that we have accept new reality and it won't be same like it was 20-30 years ago when children preferred to play outside and not in virtual world. Most important that things should be under control. You shouldn't let your children to lose contact with real world and also you should know what he is doing with phone.

When I was 5 years old, I didn't know what cellphone was, not like nowadays children who are already operating cellphones at the age of 5. And with the kind of things, we see on the internet these days, it is showing that they will be impacted negatively rather than impacting them positively,
Probably not worth to compare our childhood and current things. It's just different times. When I was kid, it was just start of mobile phones era. And it was simple Nokia phones mainly, without internet and with some basic games like snake. And then it looked WOW. Interesting how current kids would react if someone would give them old phone from 2005
