Was in a similar situation once. No one but google can help you. They will inquire some details like contents of the email, last email sent, something personal which only the email holder would know. Also it will help if you had any card linked (expired or not) and you still have the details.
Without any other recovery methods set, this is the only way you can recover your email. A new device in the same location will not work too.
