I believe that I can relate to this because I have always been an emotional gambler, but I finally stopped chasing my losses after I nearly lost my lifes savings and had to involve my family members for help to make sure that I would not gamble too much or end up chasing my loses again.
The depressing time of my days. I was in the situation long time ago, mine was not chasing the losses though. This very bad habit of going all in with the money was my type. Slowly it become a habit and was too in a position where I lost a lot. Every months salary was going to the sportsbook in a single day, months after months. I was alone at that time except my girlfriend and few friends. The major role was played by my girlfriend to give up the addiction. For a few years I was banning myself from all bookmakers [online/in shop] and also I was seeking helps from professionals.
