yes, they can, but it is not for everyone and I don't really recommend someone doing it even if they have a really good predicting skill. also, despite someone having a "really good" predicting skill, there is still no guarantee that they'll make a profit from doing sports betting.
Absolutely, gambling should only be considered as fun as anyday you can get broken completely if you totally rely on it for your life. It just takes one bad day to destroy the whole empire you've built. But if you are a type of person who likes to treat your entire life situation just as a "life or death" matter and you got no one to love, go for it
