OP, according to philosophy and logic "God doesn't exist " so with education and exposure, individuals have given different contexts and perspectives to what they see as serving God. I would say you shouldn't conclude about youths not serving God but try your own quota of drawing people to serving God. I perceive you're a Christian so I would recommend you always remember "1 Corinthians 9:27"

Thanks for recognizing that philosophy and logic shows that God exists, even if you don't say it straight out.
Everybody serves God. God is too big and too 'penetrating' to be kept from service by everyone.
To bad that those who will not formally recognize God will be serving Him with their destruction. And too bad that those of us who DO recognize God are unwilling to proclaim the Gospel more than we do.
