I'll admit I expected more, in terms of price. Probably more than fair to say it underwhelmed most Bitcoin holders (never mind speculators) in price performance.

But that's really the worst indicator of to use when we're talking about Bitcoin expectations. Pretty sure it has far exceeded most people's expectations (Bitcoiners, naysayers, states, regulators, altcoiners, BSVers, etc.). At every step of the way, people have actively tried to restrict, stunt, prevent Bitcoin. But it has only gotten stronger. It is still a minority in this world who believed Bitcoin would get this far.
