This is correct, but there is good chance you won't be able to coinjoin anything because there are not enough coins using different coordinators, or coinjoin results would be poor.
On top of that, most of the people don't even know how to choose different coordinator, and there is a risk this other coordinators can be arrested, so it's not very popular position
