Benzema is struggling for fitness and that's affecting the whole team performance. He's one ofthebest striker in the world and he has Given his best to Madrid, but it's high time Carlo Ancelotti look for his replacement in the attacking line, Benzema is aging and he can't be Madrid only striker. They have to sort out for a good young striker if they will win anything trophy this season.
Because Barcelona are already the title favourite with 8 points ahead of Real Madrid.
We know that Benzema is considered a star player for Real Madrid, and whenever he is going to miss a game, it becomes a huge concern for Ancelotti and Real Madrid. We shouldn't forget easily how badly they performed last season without him. Nevertheless, I wouldn't say he is irreplaceable. This is because they now have so many talented players that are growing, and we can, to an extent, say that anyone of them can score now with or without him.
One thing we forget, Casemiro's role is just as important as Benzema's. when El Real lost Casemiro, Madrid experienced a slight decline in performance. because Tchouameni still needs high flying hours. but when Modric and Toni Kroos were absent, Madrid really struggled to win their matches. their midfield players seem not mature enough when their two seniors are not played. plus the injuries to several defenders, making it difficult for Madrid to appear with high performances.
Don Carlo is well aware that he lacks midfield players, because of that, Jude Bellingham's name was always linked with Madrid in the last January transfer window. but in fact, Don Carlo had to prepare the available players. I'm not saying that Valverde, or Camavinga played badly. it's just that, they need long minutes of play. and Ancelotti did that, but the result was not as satisfactory as expected.
Furthermore, Don Carlo has homework that he must take care of. like it or not, Madrid must continue to play Modric and Kroos as their pillars to help the front line or defend.
