The result was a very disappointing result for the Manchester United fans, I think the absence of Casimiro really affected the team performance, Fred can't fill the role of Casimiro, so I think they really need a backup for Casimiro and Eriksson for them to be challenging for the premier League title come next season. Manchester United really needed to win that game to keep their little hope of being in the title race alive, but with that result yesterday, top four will be what they will be looking at now, they have Leeds United to play again by the weekend, and am very sure this time around Manchester United are taking all three points.
Everyone indeed expected Manchester United to comfortably win that match because Leeds United was not seen as a tough opponent. But it turned our that the underrated side took the lead and even scored a second. We know that the United team didn't perform very well but they should be commended for responding accordingly. The Red Devils players ensured they mounted pressure on the Leeds defense until they leveled up the score. At least one point is far better than losing the match.
