Bounty and airdrops are both of still alive but there are no guarantee that you will get payment. Even i think right now many peoples are participated in the bounties but they will never expect any rewards, its really difficult to get payment without escrow payment by manager. Definitely its cannot be a permanent job, its can be considered a part time work.
Bounty hunters if they want to keep doing this on their spare time need to put their foot down and ask for better conditions, after all they can spend months working before the bounty campaign ends and then they either do not get paid, their pay is reduced or they get paid with tokens without any value, and it is simply inexcusable that after months of work they do not receive what they were promised, but as long as they keep applying to those campaigns and accept that treatment then things are never going to change.
