Jump Crypto, a security-focused company, recently discovered a vulnerability in the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) Beacon Chain. The vulnerability would have allowed an attacker to mint an infinite number of arbitrary tokens on the Binance chain. The Binance team developed and deployed a patch in less than 24 hours after the vulnerability was privately disclosed to them by Jump Crypto.
