Bill Gates, the visionary founder of Microsoft, recently shared his thoughts on the game-changing impact of OpenAI's ChatGPT in an interview with German media house Handelsblatt. He stated that this revolutionary chatbot is just as significant as the invention of the internet and has the potential to transform our world. With its ability to assist in writing essays, answering questions and even clearing competitive exams, ChatGPT is set to make office jobs more efficient and our lives easier. Gates, who once warned of massive unemployment due to software automation, now looks towards the future of AI with confidence, stating that AI will result in us having to work less and transform our world. The recent extension of Microsoft and OpenAI's partnership, with a multi-year, multi-billion dollar investment, highlights the tech giant's commitment to advancing AI technology. The future of AI is bright, and Bill Gates' comments on the impact of ChatGPT are a testament to this exciting time in technological advancement.

It seems to me that AI should become a tool for faster and better search for drugs, technical calculations that will allow, for example, to implement the industrial implementation of cold fusion reactors and similar solutions that, for objective reasons, cannot be performed by a person with existing tools. But writing for an essay writer, drawing for a painting artist, writing a diploma for a student and similar activities are not AI, and this technology will do more harm than real good.
By the way, regarding ChatGPT, I have an opinion that this is incorrectly attributed to AI. This is a huge knowledge base, on the basis of which the neural network was trained, and all this is wrapped in the shell of a system with a human-like "language" based on a "large language model".
Just one fact about this system: "ChatGPT also knows nothing about events happening after 2021 because it doesn't train on datasets collected after that date.". Those. the system itself CANNOT draw conclusions, decide on obtaining additional, missing information, independently learn based on its conclusions about the lack of data. I think this is a little far from AI
