I am not sure if you are forcing my hand, but many folks already likely realize that I have difficulties committing to certain kinds of things, and from my perspective sending merits does not necessarily indicate support (nor understanding of the ideas being discussed), even though for me, I send merits for posts that either seem to raise interesting points or maybe I believe that a certain amount of work/effort went into constructing a post (but who knows with ChatBots these days?), but I don't necessarily agree with or support the posts that I merit, merely because I merited them.

For the record: the fact that I Merited a post doesn't (necessarily) mean I agree or support the post. It means I think the post is worth reading.
In this case: I wouldn't be against a privacy board, and considering how many topics you've listed, I'd probably spend some time reading there.
