I think that Union Berlin is superfluous here. The only way it can stay here I see is this: Bayern and Dortmund continue their performance in the Champions League until the later stages, and Union Berlin loses to Ajax in the Europa League and completely concentrates on the Bundesliga. Maybe you will turn out to be right about that in time. Because Union Berlin haven't been in this kind of a situation all the time so far. There have been ups and downs for them during the season. I don't know how long they can keep up this chase for the league title. I just assessed the situation considering the current placements in the standings.

Dortmund are making me really surprised by the way. Normally the Bundesliga title is not their main target according to their vision. But now they are very close to the leader and let's see how things go in the coming weeks.

It's only 14 games left ... union berlin has proven that they are pretty consistent enough to at least finish the season at top 5 at least and get the champions league slot for the first time , they jad that ability for sure if you look at the 20 matches they have played.

I have no doubt that union berlin would keep going , despite to win the title it's a bit tough, finished top 5 might be guaranteed for them.
