A legitimate platform should not be asking for other people's passports - they can of course ask for yours, but never other people's. This is an excuse they make to keep their money.

You should use a non-custodial wallet to store your money, instead of a website, to avoid this kind of problem.
If you need to store multiple altcoins, you can use Atomic Wallet / Guarda / OWNR and there are also others (just avoid Exodus wallet as people have reported balances mysteriously disappearing from their accounts).
