Manchester United playing against Barcelona in their best form on their pitch and they almost beat them shows how far theyve improved and Ten Hag has made them a team that can go toe to toe with the best teams in Europe even though theyre still in the development stage. Barcelona prepared to cage Rashford by pushing Araujo to the side but Ten Hag played him Centrally and Barcelonas game plan was disrupted and we could see how poor and disorganized they were in the defense. If Barcelona are to get through the tie against Manchester United, they will have to turn around their form in Europe.
The game really showed everyone how much Manchester United has really improved. They could match Barcelona in their home ground, scoring two goals and come out with a draw in the end. Barcelona is a good team with amazing players and would have ordinarily crushed Manchester United in their old form.
Ive always thought Ten Hag to be a good tactician. I would say the same as Pep of Manchester City. Its obvious with the way he has changed the fortunes of the club. Manchester United has been playing in top form. Though like everything, they could do with some improvement to get better but I think they could still face any team in Europe.
