Australia came down to bat again and managed to accumulate 61 runs for one wicket in 12 overs. Hope this match will be a fighting match.
India needs to restrict Australia within 280 runs, if not then they have to taste the defeat. Moreover they need to do it as soon as they can. As including today more 3 days are left. They need to make Australia all out till tomorrows lunch time, then only Indian team will get sufficient time to chase. In my opinion India should start the bowling attack with the spinners itself from the start, already India have 3 great spinners, Shreyas Iyer can also spin part time. So a good spin attack can really annoy the Australian batsmen. My bet is on India for this match, still anything can happen. Lets hope for the best.
Australia played very well on the first day and left behind a team like India and the second match started Australia batting now but doubt Australia can score more than India today but Australia are trying hard enough to beat India. India have played very well in T20s and ODIs, but they are still a bit behind in Test matches to stay on top. But since India have good bowlers and batsmen, they can be expected to control the Test match also
Was Australia's performance good in the first innings? I don't think so. The Indian team lost the seventh wicket for 139 runs. India would have lost all the wickets by 170-180 runs if Australia's bowlers could have done some controlled bowling. But the Australian bowlers cannot do well. And the performance of Australia's batsmen in the second innings was terrible. Australia lost their eighth wicket for 110 runs. And I don't see any chance of Australia winning this match. A target of at least 250+ was required to win against India.
