Australia won the first test match against India due to their luck but they could not collect any good runs in the second match. And they lost every wicket very soon while India beat them very easily. First match Australia seemed to be playing a bit better and fighting India hard but coming to the second match they lost to India by 6 wickets. India has always presented itself as a hero to the world. I am gradually becoming a bigger fan of India
India has won the first 2 matches of this on-going series and I am always a fan of all good cricket. I mean I do not need to be a hard follower of one particular team but I do watch all the matches if my time schedules permit and I do bet on all the matches where I am able to predict the outcome and more particularly whenever my budget allows. I was thinking like Australia was going to score above 250 runs because of the way Travis Head batted by the end of end day but Indian spinners did a magic and everything had changed.
If Australia was able to keep up the same momentum like the last session of 2nd day then India might have struggled to score on 4th innings for a big total chasing. India pitches are always a mystery and this time as well it is handled better only by the home team.
In this test series, Australia is trailing. India is the one leading by two-zero. And I know a lot of people are going to say that Australia played well. I am actually not going to agree. Australia did not do well enough to win. And the type of team that Australia is, I expected a lot better from them.
Of course, it is going to be hard for Australia to beat India in India. Honestly, even if we think Australia is playing in India and that's why they might perform a little worse, even after that, I think Australia did not play as well as they should have. Anyway, two more test matches left in this series. And I hope Australia will be able to make a comeback.
When playing on the home ground there is always advantage. Most of the time while playing away from home ground, the team used to perform very carefully. Even in this match Australia played really well in the first innings and Jadeja did the best in the second innings. By the time Australia didn't had any way to make stand and make more runs.
