At this stage I would still give the benefit of the doubt and say their absence and delay to service could be related to other issues. For example, if they are effectively a one person operation and that one person is taken ill or something has happened to them, then there could be exceptional circumstances.
Yeah, it's possible that some crazy stuff might be happening that's stopping the one-man business from providing adequate customer support. But still, that's no excuse for ignoring the user's PM or the forum thread when their profile shows they were active just yesterday. At the very least, they should inform their customers and the community that they are actively working to resolve the issue.
If I was going through what you or any other depositor was going through maybe I would have a different opinion but right now I think it is too early to call it a scam or say they ran off. If they do not make a statement soon regarding what happened they will have themselves to blame if their account receives several negative tags.
Sure, we might say it's too early to call them a scam, but I don't agree with that. This type of biz shouldn't be relying on just one person in the first place. Nonetheless, it's important to issue a serious warning to all existing and potential customers.
No one should deposit their funds into this service, at least until this situation is resolved.
