They can beat Ajax which lost their power and competitiveness a lot since the summer. They lost Ten Hag and a couple of important star players and have yet found good replacements for those players.
That's a serious problem for Ajax ATM, not only being knocked out of UEL, they are not even having a good enough season in the Eredivisie. Usually in the middle of the season they already have a point distance that is a little further than the other teams, but right now they are only in second place with 46 points (below Feyenoord who have 3 points more). For some reason I think that this season isn't an ordinary season in the major European leagues, we can also see PSG and Bayern Munich who are still struggling to keep their distance from other teams.
