I agree. Sometimes people decline a good job offer only because they want "a business of their own". They don't want  to work for another person or an organization, thinking that if they had their own business, they would be earning more while working less. This illusion is the biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom for many people.

People seem to think that being your own boss and not having to work for someone else is being financially free. These people would decline an attractive job that has potential future benefits in the long run.
I can say having your own business and being your own boss is not as rosy and easy as people may think. ~

Exactly. It can be very stressing. I can write a book about how stressing it can be to run your own business. I wouldn't recommend, especially to young people, even if they think that they have enough money for that, to open their own business. If you are young and have money, you should invest in your education. If you want to be financially independent in the future, don't risk all the money you have with opening your own business while uneducated. The probability of you losing everything is very high in that case.
