As far as I can see the article you linked there basically said that Google Authenticator is bad because it only supports a few devices and for every device, you need to set it up separately, hence why you should move to something like Authy since you can sync easily. Is there something else that you want to add? I can agree with some of their points but their suggestion to move to a centralized cloud platform is not really the best. Especially after the recent hacks of LastPass and others providers. I do agree that Google Authenticator should add an additional layer of protection plus a better way to back up the users' data so that it can be more user-friendly.
5. Use strong passwords: Use long and complex passwords for your cryptocurrency accounts, and don't reuse the same password across multiple accounts.
Might as well mention a password manager like KeePass since relying on our memory to create strong passwords for many different websites is a terrible idea. Stay away from a cloud password manager that doesn't offer offline/self-hosted products, even if it has some perks. You don't want to be the next victim of a cloud password manager hack.
8. Diversify your portfolio: Diversify your cryptocurrency portfolio across different assets and exchanges to minimize risk.
Since this point has been rebutted many times above, I just want to ask where did you get the idea that doing this is a good thing? If you do paraphrase it from other sources, make sure you list the links and I suggest you stay away from there. Their suggestion is terrible.
Rather, it is the work of ChatGPT.
Damn, looks like we should expect a flood of messages like this in the future.
