so it makes sense that casinos decide to advertise here as they hope to reach not only those that are part of the forum but all of those that may visit it once in a while.
I have different theories regarding the reason why casinos like to advertise on this forum.
Perhaps they think that anyone willing to invest into cryptocurrencies would be a person who is risky in nature and therefore would make a good gambling cash-cow? I think that might be correct, but only from a certain part of the community. A lot of us understand crypto is not gambling but rather it can be used for gambling. Those are two different things and they should be respected individually as such.
Or perhaps gambling was just one of the very first adopters of cryptocurrency and blockchain, and we as a community have therefore accepted it into our culture for this very reason?
It is really a bit hard to tell without extensive research.
The second reason you give makes way more sense to me, if you were to ask me which is the most profitable business we have in this market then I would say exchanges take the top spot with ease, but when it comes to the second kind of business which makes the most profits I will say casinos take that spot, casinos and cryptocurrencies make a winning combination, and even if we cannot enjoy as much privacy as we did on the early days I still think the overall experience is better than the experience you can get with fiat casinos.
