Just because people trust it, doesn't make it a good thing. There were some ponzi schemes that made BILLIONS of dollars worth of money as well, they got away with it for decades, and then they got caught. Just because people trusted it with billions didn't made it any less ponzi, it was still a ponzi and yet people didn't really realize how important being careful was, just invested because others did.

I highly recommend staying away from this as much as possible, it is a shady project and has always been one and the only reason why it has stand as long as it has so far is the fact that it is highly ranked so everyone knows about it and created a big community.
